Col. Sanders' Lemon Sponge Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/4 c. milk
    grated rind of 2 lemons
    pinch of salt
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    4 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Cream butter and flour; add beaten egg yolks, milk, rind, salt and lemon juice; beat.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites; pour into unbaked crust.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven, reducing temperature to 300\u00b0.
