Cherry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 10 oz packages of frozen pitted cherries thawed
    6 Tbsp butter at room temperature
    1/2 cup sugar
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 cup self-rising cake flour
    1 Tbsp confectioner's sugar
    Garnish: fresh cherries with stems
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Put cherries in 2 quart baking dish. To make topping, beat together sugar and butter.
    Fold in the eggs, one at
    a time/alternating with flour. Mix well. Spoon the mixture over the cherries and bake 40 to 50 minutes until puffed and lightly browned. Sift the confectioner's sugar over the surface and decorate with fresh cherries.
    Serve warm or at room temperature.
