Texas Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 oz. bottle lemon extract
4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. white raisins
4 c. whole pecans
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add beaten eggs and lemon extract. Add flour to raisins and nuts.
Add to mixture.
Bake 2 hours at 275\u00b0 in a tube pan or a 10 x 14-inch loaf pan.
Line pan with paper.
