Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    2 pkg. (any flavor) gelatin (small boxes)
    2/3 c. lemon juice
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, plus 3 c. water
    1 (46 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple juice
    2 bottles ginger ale
Preparation
    Bring water and sugar to a boil.
    Simmer 3 minutes.
    Add gelatin and stir well.
    Add lemon juice, orange juice and water and pineapple juice.
    Mix together and freeze.
    Set out 2 hours before serving.
    Just before serving, pour 2 bottles ginger ale over this.
