Shrimp Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 small onions, minced
    1/2 green pepper, minced
    2 c. sieved, canned tomatoes
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 can okra
    2 c. shredded cooked or canned shrimp
    oyster crackers
Preparation
    Melt the butter.
    Add the onion and green pepper and fry 3 minutes.
    Add the tomatoes, water, salt, pepper, sugar and okra. Slice thin.
    Heat slowly to boiling point.
    Add the shrimp and cook slowly for 10 minutes.
    Serve in deep bowls with the oyster crackers.
