Betty Thomas'S 60-Minute Parker House Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 yeast cakes
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 1/4 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    4 to 5 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Combine milk, sugar, salt and half of butter in saucepan.
    Heat to lukewarm.
    Add yeast and flour. Cover.
    Put in a warm place for 15 minutes.
    Turn onto a floured board.
    Roll into 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut with a large cutter. Apply butter.
    Fold over.
    Let rise until doubled in bulk.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
