Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sliced (with peel) cucumbers
    1 c. sliced onions
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 red pepper, chopped (for looks)
    1 Tbsp. coarse salt
    1 c. white vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine cucumbers, onions, salt, green and red pepper and let stand for two hours.
    Drain in colander.
    Combine and mix well vinegar, sugar and celery seed.
    Pour over cucumbers and let stand in refrigerator for 4 days.
    Pack in jars and keep refrigerated.
