Baked Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 to 6 qt. popped corn (I use 3 to 4 pkg. microwave popcorn)
    1 jar dry roasted peanuts
Preparation
    Melt butter and stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil without stirring for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popcorn and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Pour into baking pans.
    Bake in a 250\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Break apart.
