Crostata(Italian Apple Tart) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. margarine or butter
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. sliced, peeled apples
2/3 c. apricot or peach preserves
1/4 c. sugar
milk
sugar
half and half or light cream (optional)
Preparation

In a medium mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar and baking powder.
Cut in margarine or butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
In another mixing bowl, beat egg slightly with a fork; stir in milk and vanilla.
Add milk mixture to flour mixture; mix well.
