Gourmet Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 loin chops (1/2-inch thick)
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. dried rosemary, crushed
1 can French fried onions
1/2 c. sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 Tbsp. flour
dash of pepper
Preparation

Coat chops with mixture of flour, salt and pepper.
Brown on both sides in shortening.
Place in baking pan.
Combine soup, 3/4 cup of water, ginger and rosemary and pour over chops.
Sprinkle with half the onions.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until meat is tender.
Uncover and sprinkle with remaining onions and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove meat; blend sour cream into sauce. Heat and use this for gravy.
Good served with rice or noodles.
