Microwave Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 c. pecan halves
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    In 3-quart microwavable bowl, stir first 5 ingredients. Cover and vent.
    Microwave on high for 8 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
    Stir in pecans and vanilla.
    Cook on high, covered, for 2 minutes.
    Stir in powdered sugar until thick and not glossy. Quickly drop by spoonfuls onto buttered waxed paper.
    If mixture becomes thick, stir in a few drops of hot water.
    Makes 20.
