Italian Coconut Cream Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. granulated sugar
5 egg yolks
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. milk
2 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
5 egg whites
Preparation

Beat the sugar, 5 egg yolks and butter together.
Add flour, baking soda, milk, coconut, pecans and vanilla.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
