Old Fashioned Creamy Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. canned milk
    2 1/2 blocks baking chocolate
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. marshmallow
Preparation
    Combine sugar, milk, baking chocolate, corn syrup and salt in a heavy 2-quart saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils.
    Cook, stirring occasionally to 234\u00b0 (or until forms a soft ball).
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter, vanilla and marshmallow, do not stir.
    Allow to cool at room temperature without stirring until it reaches 110\u00b0 or until fudge thickens and loses some of its gloss.
    Quickly pour fudge into lightly buttered 8-inch square pan.
    Makes about 1 1/2 pounds.
