Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. applesauce
    1 c. seedless preserves (strawberry or blackberry) or jam
    2 eggs
    2 c. raisins
    2 c. chopped walnuts
    3 1/2 c. flour (plain)
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. allspice
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add all ingredients (except 1/2 cup flour, raisins and nuts).
    Mix well.
    Roll raisins and nuts in 1/2 cup flour and add to mixture.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0 (maybe longer).
    Test with toothpick.
    Bake in tube pan lined in bottom with greased wax paper.
