Cream Of Turkey Wild Rice Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
    3/4 c. each: diced celery and diced green pepper
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. flour
    2 cans chicken broth (13 3/4 oz.)
    1/2 c. 2% milk
    2 c. cooked long grain and wild rice, mixed
    1 1/2 c. cooked turkey cubes
    1 (8 oz.) container soft cream cheese with chives and onion
Preparation
    In a large pan, cook and stir mushrooms, celery and peppers in margarine until tender.
    Mix flour and broth together until blended.
    Gradually add to vegetables.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in milk, rice, turkey and cream cheese.
    Blend well.
    Bring to a boil.
    Heat over low, stirring.
    Makes 8 (1 cup) servings.
