Cheese-Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. yellow squash (3 c.)
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 to 2 tsp. butter
    1 c. grated yellow cheese
Preparation
    Cook squash and drain.
    Mash squash; add cream cheese, beaten eggs and 3/4 cup grated American cheese.
    Blend and place in greased casserole.
    Mix remaining 1/4 cup grated cheese with crackers crumbs.
    Spread over casserole and dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 8.
