Cherry Winks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. butter
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1 well beaten egg
1 1/2 Tbsp. milk
candied cherries, halved
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. chopped raisins
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. crushed corn flakes
Preparation

Combine flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
Cream butter, lemon peel, vanilla and sugar.
Add egg and milk.
Beat thoroughly.
Add dry ingredients.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Drop from teaspoon, small balls into crushed cornflakes.
Arrange on a greased cookie sheet and top with cherry halves.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
