Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
    juice (from No. 303 can cocktail) plus water to make 1 c.
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (No. 303) can fruit cocktail
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix juice from fruit cocktail plus water to make 1 cup.
    Mix vanilla and fruit cocktail into juice mixture.
    Mix sugar, flour, baking soda and eggs together.
    Add dry ingredients into wet. Stir well.
    Pour into greased and floured pan.
    Sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup nuts.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan at 350\u00b0.
