Marinade Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Shoe Peg corn
    1 can French-style green beans
    1 can small English peas
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 slice chopped onion (optional)
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. distilled vinegar
    1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Marinate vegetables.
    Heat sugar, vinegar and oil.
    Heat and pour over vegetables (not boiling).
    Salt and pepper to taste. Let set overnight in refrigerator before eating.
