Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    chopped pecans
    3 eggs
    1 c. dark Karo syrup
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cover bottom of pie shell approximately 1/2-inch with chopped pecans.
    Beat eggs with fork until still foamy (not dry).
    Add Karo, sugar and vanilla.
    Mix well by hand.
    Do not use mixer. Pour over pecans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes until center is slightly firm to touch.
    Do not overbake.
