Mother Murphey'S Bill Taft Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/2 c. melted butter
1 lb. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan or loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes until done.
