Braised Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 1/2 lb. green beans, tips cut off and sliced in half lengthwise
4 green onions, finely chopped
1/2 c. finely chopped parsley
1 c. Italian canned tomatoes
salt and pepper
Preparation

Pour the oil into the bottom of a heavy saucepan and add the beans, onions, parsley, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
Cover and simmer slowly for 20 to 30 minutes or until beans are tender. Serves 6.
