Skipper'S Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 bunch green onions and tops
    3 ribs chopped celery
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. crushed bay leaves
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 good dash hot pepper sauce (like Tabasco)
    1 c. long grain rice
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    12 oz. shrimp
Preparation
    Cook onions and celery in oil until tender.
    Add celery, tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, chili powder, salt, sugar, thyme, bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce.
    Cook 45 minutes, then add chopped green pepper and shrimp.
