Raisin Honey Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. raisins
    1/2 c. honey
    4 c. white bread cubes
    1 qt. milk
    6 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Rinse
    raisins
    and
    drain.
    Combine
    honey
    and
    bread cubes. Cook
    over low heat and stir until bread absorbs honey (2
    to 3 minutes).
    Blend milk, eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Add
    with raisins
    to bread cubes.
    Pour into buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon.
    Place dish in pan of hot
    water and
    bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until knife inserted
    in center
    comes out clean.
    May serve with caramel sauce.
    Serves 8 to 10.
