Boiled Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. sweet milk
8 to 10 eggs, separated
2 c. sugar
Preparation

Put sweet milk on to cook;
Separate eggs and beat separately. Beat whites until you can slice with a knife.
After you have beaten the yolks, add sugar and beat well.
Stir into the scalding milk with egg beater.
When it begins to look a little creamy and thick, add the stiffly beaten whites.
Let boil a few minutes, stirring constantly.
Flavor to suit taste when cool.
