Polly'S Bourbon Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. candied cherries
    2 pkg. pitted dates
    1 pkg. dried figs (stems removed)
    2 c. pecans
    1/2 c. bourbon whiskey
    1 (4 oz.) can flaked coconut
Preparation
    Put dates, figs and pecans through the coarsest blade of food grinder.
    Mix with diced candied cherries and whiskey.
    Shape into marble sized bites, using 2 teaspoons of the mixture.
    Roll each marble in coconut.
    Makes 6 dozen.
