Italian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger
    1 to 3 large onions, finely chopped or ground
    3 to 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped or ground
    1 tsp. parsley
    1/2 tsp. sage
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 large can tomato puree
    3 small cans tomato sauce
    fine chopped celery (optional)
    fine chopped mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Fry meat
    until
    brown,
    but don't overcook, along with onions, garlic
    and
    spices.
    Add
    tomato puree and sauce with equal amounts of
    water.
    Simmer slowly about 2 hours or until thick and grease forms on the top.
