Quick Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. unsifted flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon if desired
    1/3 c. softened shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. dry egg mix or 2 fresh eggs and 1/3 c. water
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon together; set aside.
    Mix shortening and sugar until smooth.
    Stir in egg mix and half of the water until smooth.
    Add rest of water.
    Beat well.
    Mix half of flour mixture and milk into the egg mixture. stir in rest of flour and milk just until smooth.
    Stir in raisins.
    Pour in greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 (moderate oven) about 40 minutes until browned.
    Cool bread in pan for 10 minutes.
