Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large potatoes, sliced thin
    2 medium onions
    1 can soup (mushroom or chicken)
    4 slices cheese
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Alternate slices of potatoes and onions in a buttered casserole, dotting each layer with butter, salt and pepper. Combine the cream of chicken or mushroom soup with milk; mix thoroughly and pour over the vegetables.
    Lift the potatoes and onions so that the soup is well mixed with them.
    Top all with the sliced cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, or until the potatoes are tender.
