Italian Sauce(Good) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley or 2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dried whole oregano
    1 tsp. dried whole basil
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook ground beef, onion and garlic in a large skillet until meat is browned, stirring to crumble meat.
    Drain well.
    Stir in tomatoes and remaining ingredients.
    Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 45 minutes.
    Serve sauce with spaghetti, lasagna or manicotti. Yields 7 1/2 cups.
