Icing(Caramel) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. shortening
3 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix ingredients and bring to a boil.
Immediately remove from heat and let cool to lukewarm; thicken with powdered sugar.
