Zesty Tomato-Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
2 beef flavored bouillon cubes or envelopes
1 medium cabbage, shredded coarsely
1 c. water
1 medium sliced onion
1 minced garlic clove
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
Preparation

In 4-quart saucepan, combine all ingredients.
Over medium heat, bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer 30 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
Serve with crusty rye bread.
