Asparagus And Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans asparagus spears
    2 (17 oz.) cans green peas
    4 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and sliced
    Cheese Sauce (recipe follows)
    1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs or crackers crumbs
Preparation
    Drain asparagus and peas, reserving liquid.
    Cut asparagus into 1-inch pieces.
    Arrange half the vegetables in a 3-quart casserole. Place 2 sliced eggs on top.
    Pour half the Cheese Sauce over eggs. Repeat layers.
    Sprinkle cracker crumbs or bread crumbs on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 14 to 16.
