Sausage Corn Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 c. white cornmeal
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 lb. sausage, cooked and drained
Preparation

Grease muffin pans.
Heat in a 450\u00b0 oven.
Combine milk and shortening with egg; mix lightly.
Stir in cornmeal, baking powder, salt, sugar and sausage; blend well.
Pour batter into hot greased pans.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
Serve with scrambled eggs or syrup.
