Quick Apple Streudel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. boiling water
    1 slightly beaten egg yolk
    7/8 c. flour (1 c. minus 2 Tbsp.)
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Prepare crust for streudel by first dissolving the butter in boiling water.
    Cool.
    Blend in 1 slightly beaten egg yolk and flour, sifted with salt.
    Beat until very smooth.
    Now let pastry stand while preparing the filling.
