Western Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. boneless round or chuck roast
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. catsup
    1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In heavy pot, brown all sides of beef roast in oil.
    Add onion and cook until golden.
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
    Simmer, covered, until meat is tender, about 3 hours. Serve with carrots and potato chunks.
    Serves 8.
