Speedy Potato Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon, diced
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of potato soup
1 1/2 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) can mixed veggies (plus liquid)
1 c. \"meat\" (sliced hot dogs, diced chicken or ham)
2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
1 Tbsp. bacon drippings (reserved)
Preparation

In 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp. Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Pour off all but 1 tablespoon bacon drippings.
In hot drippings, cook onion until tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in soup and milk until well mixed.
Add vegetables with its liquid, \"meat\", parsley and reserved bacon.
Heat through, stirring occasionally.
Makes about 4 cups/4 servings.
