Party Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. jello
    1 qt. hot water
    2 c. sugar
    1 qt. cold water
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 large can pineapple juice
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in hot water; add sugar.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Freeze solid in quart containers.
    Just before serving, thaw enough to mash with potato masher.
    Place in punch bowl.
    Add 4 quarts ginger ale.
    Makes enough for 40 servings.
