Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1 stick Alco
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    6 eggs
    3 c. Swans Down cake flour
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream shortening and add sugar gradually.
    Add one egg at a time and beat thoroughly.
    Mix dry ingredients together and add dry ingredients, alternating with milk.
    Add flavorings and beat well.
    Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan. Cook 1 hour and 10 minutes at 275\u00b0 or 300\u00b0.
    Cool 15 minutes and turn on rack to cool.
