Banana Bread - cooking recipe

8 Tbsp. (1 stick) butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. whole wheat flour
3 large ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch bread pan. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, beating well after each addition.
Sift flour, baking soda and salt together, stir in whole wheat flour and add to creamed mixture; mixing well.
Fold in bananas, vanilla and nuts.
Pour mixture into pan and bake 50 to 60 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan.
Makes 1 loaf.
