Spicy Hot Dog Corn Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 jumbo beef hot dogs
    1 (7 oz.) pkg. cornbread mix
    2 Tbsp. red peppers, chopped
    2 tsp. chili powder
    dash of cayenne pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Prepare cornbread mix according to package directions, adding the red peppers, chili powder and cayenne pepper.
    Spray or lightly coat a large cookie sheet with cooking oil.
    Using 3/4 of the batter, drop batter by spoon into 16 to 24 mounds.
    Cut hot dogs into chunks to equal number of mounds and put 1 hot dog chunk into center of each mound; top with remaining batter.
    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with salsa or honey.
