Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 large box vanilla wafers
1 stick margarine
1 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding
3 c. cold milk
1 large can strawberry pie filling
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 large Cool Whip
chopped nuts
bananas
maraschino cherries

Preparation

Place vanilla wafers and margarine in blender or processor and form crumb mixture.
Press firmly into 9 x 13-inch dish.
Mix pudding with milk per package directions.
Pour over crumbs. Spread strawberry pie filling over pudding.
Spoon pineapple over this.
Spread Cool Whip over pineapple.
Sprinkle top with nuts. Chill.
Just before serving, top with bananas (sliced) and top with cherries.
