Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. self-rising flour, sifted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
    4 c. chopped pecans
    2 lb. mixed candied fruit or 1 lb. pineapple and 1 lb. cherries
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Fold in 1 cup flour. Add vanilla and lemon.
    Mix remaining cup of flour with fruit and nuts. Add to cake mixture.
    Use Bundt pan or 2 loaf pans. Bake at 250\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
