Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. ground oatmeal
2 c. ground raisins
2 c. plain flour
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. soda (dissolved in hot water)
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Roll into balls and place 2-inches apart on baking sheet.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
