Fettucine Carbonara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. bacon, chopped
    1 lb. fettucine pasta (may also use linguine or spaghetti)
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. grated Parmigiana cheese
    1/4 c. green peas (optional)
Preparation
    In large skillet, stir-fry bacon and onion until golden brown, stirring often.
    Remove from heat.
    Drain excess fat from skillet; set aside.
