Ina'S Beaten Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. lard (with solid pork fat)
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder together at least twice. Mix in lard until mixture is mealy. Add milk to form a dough. Place
    dough on floured board and beat with a wooden rolling pin. Keep folding the dough and beating it until blisters appear on the dough (about 200 times).
    Roll out about 1/3-inch thick.
    Cut with small biscuit cutter and place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Prick the top of each biscuit 2 to 3 times with a fork. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
