Hazelnut Plum Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
10 Tbsp. butter, coarsely chopped
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 Tbsp. grated orange rind
1 tsp. vanilla
5 red plums, ripe and halved
2/3 c. coarsely chopped, skinned, toasted hazelnuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour 8-inch spring-form pan. In food processor fitted with chopping blade or in large mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Process or stir until just blended.
Add butter, process briefly until just blended.
Add eggs, rind and vanilla; process just until smooth batter forms.
Scrape inside of bowl as necessary.
Spread half of batter in prepared pan and bake 25 minutes.
