Kosher Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 qt. cucumbers (either whole or sliced)
1 gal. water
1 pt. white vinegar
1 c. pickling salt
16 dill heads
16 garlic cloves
Preparation

Combine water, vinegar and salt in a large pot and bring to a boil.
Put cucumbers, dill and garlic into hot jars.
Pour boiling liquid in to fill jars almost to the top.
Seal jars.
Yields 8 quarts or 16 pints.
