Sugared Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
    8 large marshmallows
    3 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Boil first three ingredients until soft ball stage. Remove from heat.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Pour out on wax paper and quickly separate with a fork.
