Soup Bean Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. pinto beans, cooked, drained and mashed
1 c. light syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
4 well beaten eggs
1 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
Preparation

Cream the sugar and butter; add eggs.
Add syrup and mix well. Stir vanilla into mixture and pour into unbaked pie shell.
Pour beans into mixture.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 40 to 50 minutes; when knife inserted in center of pie comes out clean, pie is done.
Tastes like pecan pie.
